I'm guilty of it myself. In the past I used to say "the trans community want this/don't want that" etc. But who was I to speak for others simply because we shared a trait? Some detrans folk are now feminist, some aren't. Some are now against transition, period. Others aren't.
We all, all arr guilty of something, still doesn't discount our opinions, infact i believe it enforces them
