Detrans folk are left wing, right wing, gay, straight, black, white, resentful, accepting and everything else in between. As with every "community" it's important to remember it's not a hive mind, and disagreements happen. That's a good thing There's no "one way" to be it 2/2

I think the idea of a "detrans community" has problems, but the idea that "detrans" is an "identity" is worse.

Agreed. I don't think it's healthy to move on from one identify (trans) to another (detrans) without realising that one's feverent focus on *identity* may be the problem.

They way I think about it is that the “community” part is more a support system not necessarily an identity. As far as the identity part, I would love to just leave it but unfortunately it is very much part of me & my history. So it’s finding that balance.

I think we can be a community without having to all agree on everything. And like all communites you can find people and groups that suit you more. Like I personally find I vibe well with detrans/dysphoric women who are also radfem so that’s who I engage with mostly.

I think detrans are super important in terms of helping the world out of this Woke nightmare we are in. And for that, I believe you need to come together and be heard. I wouldn't expect you to be a hivemind...that sort of thought process is *their* MO. You're much classier.
