I don't know. All I know is, I'm just doing whatever makes me comfortable these days, and if that means being 'sir'd' now and again, that's fine. I'm a masculine woman, and that's fine. At least I'm an honest masculine woman.
My dysphoria's a lot easier to manage. The first months of detransition were hard - I was tempted to restart T at times, but I'm glad I didn't. I'm happy to be living my life honestly & that I don't need to plunge a needle into my leg every 3 weeks just to feel good about myself.
Thank you for sharing your story. If I may ask, did you change your legal sex marker? Once changed can you change it back?
Didn't bother changing my birth certificate, I changed the sex on my passport & driver's licence to male as they were my primary forms of ID. Changing them back to female simply required a Drs note, but it wouldn't have been so simple if I'd changed my birth certificate too.
I’m as cis as COS can be, with hips and boobs to match and have still had some young no-hook private (I’m military) call me sir occasionally. I’ve even gotten it on the phone and I certainly don’t sound like a guy. 
It happens to all of us.

I'm very typically feminine and I've still been called brother. Sometimes it's just a slip of the tongue. It doesn't really matter anyway. What matters is that you are happy in your own skin, with the person you are.
To be clear; you are super pretty. Im glad you’ve learned to love yourself just as you are. You don’t owe anyone anything.
