Today, I don't bother. None of that's me. My fear had been I'd never pass as a woman again. I still get called sir, was called it just yesterday. But you know what? That's okay. Who was I trying to impress? Certainly not myself; I hated feminizing myself. So why bother, then?
I don't know. All I know is, I'm just doing whatever makes me comfortable these days, and if that means being 'sir'd' now and again, that's fine. I'm a masculine woman, and that's fine. At least I'm an honest masculine woman.
My dysphoria's a lot easier to manage. The first months of detransition were hard - I was tempted to restart T at times, but I'm glad I didn't. I'm happy to be living my life honestly & that I don't need to plunge a needle into my leg every 3 weeks just to feel good about myself.

I’m just a ‘normal’ women who had short hair for a long time, and also tall and quite well built. I was always being mistaken for a man but you get used to it. If they realised and apologised I’d make a joke out of it. Such is life 
If you have honesty, you can live with anything! Thank you for your honesty, I have learned so much by following your account. I have a friend who now lives fully as a man, you would never know he was born a female. Some people it definitely does help but not all.
I am tall and broad-shouldered with short hair and a deepish voice (from 10 years’ smoking) and I get “sir’d” quite a lot. It used to bother me a bit but I couldn’t care less now.
Was 'Ma'am'ed a few times in my younger days when my hair was a big puffball. Just a reflection of expected visual cues for people, no more. You do you. Your mind is wonderful & your voice is important & (saying this carefully as an older married man), your face is beautiful.
