reading the replies on JK Rowling’s tweets make me so depressed lol. she retweeted the detrans women article and no one who’s replying “shut up” is even talking about the content of the article or the fact that so many detrans women exist. they. don’t. care.
I expected some negatively, but I was a little surprised by just how much her tweet received. Most of the people hating on her clearly didn't even read the article, yet felt the need to smear it as transphobia. The ignorance was palpable.

I had a long argument on here last night with one woman who had actually read the article, thought it was good, but STILL wanted JK Rowling to shut up. Some people truly hate the fact they can't bully or silence her.
