Just because you're trans does not mean you get to speak for the trans community. It's a big community - there will be differing opinions among its members, and that's a good thing. Never aim to be part of a political hive mind. Practice what you preach; embrace diversity 2/3
Keep that in mind when you attack someone for transphobia simply because some trans activists claimed so, even though you haven't personally heard their views. Your community can be wrong. You can disagree with the majority, and that's a good thing. Be you, not your group 3/3
seems to me the underlying biological determinism is also something to be concerned about. just my opinion. tribal thinking is *sometimes* of service, i would say.
Biological determinism is a real phenomenon though - in as much as your biology determines the way your body develops, feels and functions. If we deny that, we deny reality, and reality doesn’t care whether we deny it or not, it’s still there and it impacts on us all.
