@AudreySuffolk I’ve asked Scottish MPs - no replies - am I right in thinking under their GRA proposals published for consultation recently a girl could start transition at 16, finish by 18, & then be prosecuted if she changed her mind & ‘lived as a girl’ again within 2 years?

That was one of the grey areas under the Consultation.
@ImWatson91 was very concerned by that section because it really reads as though detransitioners would be treated the same way as fraudsters.
They never clarified. I may be a criminal right now because I live as a woman. Because I'm a woman.

I’m certain they didn’t intend for that - but badly written laws get applied along with good ones. That section was the one that leapt out at me the most - particularly in context of the age reductions. I’m surprised so few others campaigning against the GRA have mentioned it.

Just ridiculous. It’s almost as if they really hadn’t thought it through.
