Totally agree. I'm sure trans people wouldn't be happy with me taking an obscure Latin term & call them it. It's a bloody insult, I've fought against stupid stereotypes all my life & am not about to start now!
I refuse the terms "cis" and "cis lesbian." Anyone who uses such terminology can go and fucketh off.
