PSA: trans people don’t hate detransitioners. We hate toxic detransitioners who assume that because they detransition, we will too. “I thought I was trans but I wasn’t and you aren’t either” Well guess what bitch, I thought I was cis but I’m not so what does that tell you?

It’s definitely not the majority, but there are a few out there that have said some really hurtful things. Mainly people who buy into the “just a phase/you just want attention” rhetoric. I’ve only interacted with two myself but I’ve heard about others.
I'm sorry you've had to deal with that. I'm a detransitioner, and I kno transition can help dysphoric people. Please don't let those who hurt you paint us all in a bad light. I assure you many of us want to support you, and be supported in return.
