Nearly all said they were too afraid to speak up themselves. Why is that fear there? What does it tell us about the current situation concerning immediate affirmation?

Over the past week, I've gotten more messages urging me to keep speaking about transition regret than I have in several months. From detransitioners, parents, spouses, siblings, friends and a couple of GPs. Has something happened recently that I've missed?
