Complete and utter made up bollocks, queer was the word used by homophobes when they were kicking the shit out of Lesbians and Gays. It is unacceptable to me, it is homophobic, and there is nothing radical or progressive about it.

It's funny that when I, as a homosexual, say I'm uncomfortable with a term being included in everyday conversation I'm told to just ignore it's there. But when I say "trans women are trans women" rather than "trans women are women" I'm attacked for making people uncomfortable.

I'm saying the fact that some people use the word "queer" as an umbrella term for non cishet folk does not invalidate the acronym LGBTQ+.

When addressing issues of sexual/romantic orientation I include Pansexual folks, even though they share the first letter of their sexual orientation with Pedophiles, who often try to force themselves into the community.
