Trans & detrans, how did the kids in your life react to the change? My nephews remember me pre-transition but my niece only knew uncle Sean and she's devastated he's "gone." I've said I'm the same person, she doesn't have to call me aunt etc. but she just wants her uncle back.
Its not the term she has a problem with, she can call me uncle Sean for the rest of my life and it genuinely wouldn't bother me. She's upset that I look more like a woman since coming off T.

Sean was the name my baby sister made us call her for three years +. It was back in the day. We lived in a traditional set up and being a boy definitely conferred advantages. Dread to think of the consequences, decades on. She’s a mother with two kids now.
