Watson you'll have a very valid perspetive on this (if it's not too intrusive) why do TRA say this? Other rights movements don't frame those who live differently /disagree with ideals as "hate us/ we can't even exist" etc. eg Just because *I* eat eggs doesn't mean I HATE vegans?
I think they genuinely fear detrans stories being used by anti-trans groups in order to take away trans care. The problem starts when they assume all detrans people must be anti-trans, and so lash out at us.

Detransition should, I believe, be seen as a successful outcome of transition. It worries me greatly how the emphasis has moved from mental health care to identity validation.
