Honestly, the amount of times I've read a thread about detransition - with no mention of trans people - only to have some random Twitter tit turn up to accuse the poster of being "anti-trans" is staggering.

Watson you'll have a very valid perspetive on this (if it's not too intrusive) why do TRA say this? Other rights movements don't frame those who live differently /disagree with ideals as "hate us/ we can't even exist" etc. eg Just because *I* eat eggs doesn't mean I HATE vegans?

I think they genuinely fear detrans stories being used by anti-trans groups in order to take away trans care. The problem starts when they assume all detrans people must be anti-trans, and so lash out at us.
