Many transsexuals are now labelled “truscum” and abused. Many are supporting parents worried that our gay offspring are being medicalised inappropriately. As raised by some of the ex Tavistock staff here. (Some of the 35 who have left the service and raised serious concerns)

I was called truscum when I was trans because I opposed the affirmation and transition of children. The pro-trans activists are "pro-trans" so long as you're not the wrong-think kind. Be a good little tran and agree with everything they say.

Some of that energy could be redirected to making sure there is more research and support for physical and mental health . I am in dialogue with a long term transsexual who is having health issues (post op) 25 years on. This after an adult decision.
