I wanted to post a dramatic before and after photo for #detransdayofvisibility but I don't have any photos of me in my "glory" days approximately 2002-2006. I did pose for some terrible "erotic" photos during this time period, so if anyone can locate some I would appreciate it.
I was never big on selfies myself. It's a shame I never kept a photo of me with my winter beard, it was rather glorious.

It's so bizarre for me to reflect back on my young adulthood and realize that it came and went before the dawn of the age of smart phones. I should probably be grateful.

There was no such thing as a "selfie" in the modern sense, but I was obsessed with my image and would have friends (or my sex work clients) photograph me. When I saw the photos later, I was never satisfied, and it triggered my dysphoria.
