So do you think lesbians have become kind of invisible to young girls, that they don’t have role models or women they can identify with. Would that have changed things for you, seeing women In relationships with other women with homes together with family’s jobs, security.
For me, a lack of lesbian role models was never an issue. But I have seen some younger detrans women citing that as one factor among many. The issue is gender nonconformity is now linked to being trans. Even the NHS cites boys liking girls toys as a "sign" of dysphoria.

It's utterly ridiculous though. In my teens I was very much into football and vintage aircraft. Not once did anyone ever suggest I might not be a girl. The pressure on children today to conform to gender stereotypes is horrendous.
That can be ONE sign. Problem is people misunderstanding that concept. A trans kid has a consistent and persistent STRONG desire to be the other gender or insist they already are. Merely liking a Barbie now and again isn't that.
