While its true that it was downgraded from gender identity disorder to gender dysphoria, it still meets the requirements of a mental illness, namely the severe distress and discomfort it brings. But it's too politically incorrect to call a disorder a disorder these days.

Yes but I also think it is tied in with ideas of masculine and feminine. After all, women’s bodies have been an obsession for a very long time. So is it any wonder that people obsess the way they do. Our society needs to learn to have respect for women & we must respect ourselves
