Was just looking at the blog profile of someone who is pretty well known on twitter & is really pretty brilliant but abt a year ago decided he was a TW. Having been raised in a very repressive evangelical setting, he is known for basically helping ppl from similar backgrounds /1
Basically “detrans” from that. I learned from reading his twitter account that so many of these ppl experienced trauma of one form or another growing up in that environment. I really respect the work he has done in helping to “free” these ppl from their past /2
