I wonder whether the overwhelming media presentation of lesbians as 'femme' and 'glam' has left young women with no role models /representation. Older lesbians had none but made their own. But to have ones that don't fit w'd be pretty disconcerting.

I think you hit on something but it has to do with getting kids and younger ppl to understand that what you see on the screen does not represent real life and I don’t know you slay that beast
