MOST trans people stay out of debates due to several reasons. It’s mentally draining and does hurt us at some point. You become the enemy. You have to pick a side. You’re always disappointing someone. It constantly puts you in a state of analyzing yourself and your beliefs.
Most trans folk I know are just getting on with their lives, they don't give a shit about politics. They're just as pissed off with obnoxious TRAs as anyone else.

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I am super appreciative for those of you that do get involved even though it causes a lot of backlash for you from your own community. I know it can’t be an easy thing to do.
