It's like waking up sober for the first time after years of being blackout drunk. You just keep asking yourself, "What have I done?" And there's a flood of negative emotions, namely guilt and shame.

Please try not to feel guilt or shame our society let you down and our NHS let you down. I have had the privilege of hearing you speak publicly about your journey, and I know that I will never forget it. I use it as inspiration in my battle to prevent this ever happening again x

This is why I worry about these kids all the time. We see this “distraction” issue in my FTMs case quite clearly.
