This is horrifying. I had no idea MRI scans found that puberty blockers and hormones interfered with brain structure. Thank you for alerting me to Prof. Whitehall.

Isn't it astounding! Did you suffer from headaches whilst on T? I've heard transmen say this. It's likely from the swelling of the brain but no size increase of the cranial cavity.

I suffered from headaches before, during and after T, so I never thought to connect the two. I now want an MRI scan lol.

Your brain will have more or less stopped developing by the time you started T, it finishes at 25 but that is more decision making & you show you've developed that mature level planning & "adulting" so you are ok

Adding hormones to your body that aren’t supposed to be there can have a profound effect on the endocrine system of an adult. Give them to a prepubescent or pubescent child & it causes chaos, particularly to the developing brain, heart & bones.

Makes me wonder about HRT given freely to women, as Valium was in 1970s.
