Been speaking to more detrans males recently. Their stories are equally heartbreaking. Young men who weren't "real men," regardless of their sexuality, who found friendship, acceptance & solace in online trans spaces. Now filled with regret. They're quieter, but they exist.

It’s mad that there should be any backlash. For talking about the fact they’re working through a hard personal situation?! The fact that detrans & desisters get abuse is one of the most baffling things I’ve seen in this whole subject.

I also hope we hear from them one day as I have a teenage son who wants to transition and could really benefit from hearing their stories. But completely understand their resistance. My heart goes out to all the detransitoners!

Yes, my son identified as trans for 8 months. Hormones for 3. He is so embarrassed and ashamed he doesn’t like to talk about it. Thankfully he’s in therapy. I’m so grateful for all detransitioners who speak out and help me understand.

I’m so happy for him that he stopped before any surgeries and I hope he can get over his embarrassment. Everyone is vulnerable at certain times in life. I was brainwashed by a crazy church at 15, for a few months, and by trans ideology at 40 for a year.
