Gender Dysphoria is a mental illness. If you're so distressed over your gender that you contemplate suicide, you require compassion & psychiatric help So why's Scotland proposing to remove the need for a diagnosis of GD by a mental health professional for those changing gender?

you know what's scientifically proven to help people with gender dysphoria? transition + support. no one wants anyone to kill themselves. we want people to get the medical care they need and the family/friend support they deserve

Right?? And it's counter productive in America because without a codable diagnosis6 insurance wont cover treatment for gender dysphoria. So people with terrible psychological distress will have to pay out of pocket for both psychological and medical services related to GD.
