I personally really love seeing singers like David Bowie or any of the rock bands that I grew up with having that kind of nonconforming style b/c I grew up not thinking that a guy with long haired is suddenly “girly” as well as a man with eyeliner. I just never thought about it.

And this is coming from someone who was born in 2001. Like, I grew up with a lot of 70-90’s music because of my parents and I just admired how they dressed and carried their voice/instruments to everybody. I was just a kid that didn’t give a shit about looks lol.
