Thank you - we have a good psychologist and I’m finding scores of parents in the same boat! Our child is adopted and has suffered huge traumas - maybe escaping into being a boy for a while is her way of coping with the pain

my daughter too has a trauma history --I understand from my reading it is quite common with trans identifying women
