I think about my transition a lot. How sure I was. I *knew* I'd never regret it. I was 23. How can *anyone* claim a 16 year old "knows best." This is insanity. You don't know anything about yourself at 16, even though you think you do.
I feel that. My GP wrote that I would "in all likelihood" be trans permanently. After regret, they want nothing to do with me. I'm blessed to have other detrans folk to talk to, God knows the professionals don't want to know us.

I so hate to hear stories like this - they’ll see you when your trans, but drop you when you detrans - those doctors are doing advocacy - not medicine.

I do just want to point out that it has been relentless trans advocacy and being accused of transphobia that has started to impact how much doubt medical/behavioral health professionals are allowed to express to patients in the first place.
