I feel that. My GP wrote that I would "in all likelihood" be trans permanently. After regret, they want nothing to do with me. I'm blessed to have other detrans folk to talk to, God knows the professionals don't want to know us.

Which is why imo it's critical that the adults in these kids lives (parents, doctors, mental health professionals, teachers, school counselors, state and federal legislatures) play the bad guy when it comes to letting kids make these decisions. We need as a society to say no.

My memories of sex education back in the 80's was advice columns full of 15 year olds asking 'am I gay?' to which the reply was always 'this is common and not unusual during puberty'. & 'Your hormones are raging, it will pass'
