I’ve also said this before. We need to just have a much more comprehensive system/protocol for anyone who presents with GD, so their unique needs are met, wether that’s to transition or not. As it stands, all dysphoric presenting ppl are painted with the same brush.

The issue is that many, maybe most, psychiatrists are too afraid to question the merits of transition in case activists come for their jobs. This was a medical issue between Dr and patient, but now it's become a political issue for people to fight over.
