Me too. Maybe my age but it is still an insult to me.
I don't like the word "queer." It was an insult directed at gay men when I was growing up, so to see people - especially women - saying "I'm queer!" just makes me cringe.

It was an absolute slur when I was growing up. People were called queer while getting the crap beat out of them.
