I always try to be respectful. But if you're a recently self-ID'd trans teen and you tell my 29-year-old arse that I was "never really trans," as I sit here with a beard and mastectomy scars after more than a decade of struggling with dysphoria, I will laugh at you.

I've said this to you in person but more people need to hear you speak face to face. It was a completely different, eye opening & visceral, experience than your interview with
@BenjaminABoyce The amount of anger I felt towards the "medical professionals" in your life was unreal.
It's always reassuring when I meet people like you, it makes it easier to speak out more openly.

It's easy to listen to you because your story starts the same way most of ours do. That we got to the same place mentally via wildly different routes is and should be shocking to everyone. Keep talking, we'll listen.
