Does any other #detrans people find it funny that when we told people our story of feeling like the opposite sex they believed us with open arms & sympathy. But when we told tell them that transition hurt us & we regret it they don’t believe us & are suspect?
I didn’t get this reaction from the important people in my life, but online was different. When I said “I’m a trans man” online I was immediately affirmed and believed, but saying “I detransitioned” is more often than not met with accusations of “liar” and “fake.”
