Every good think must come to an end. But this truly is a sad end.
Universities were once protectors of debate and controversial ideas. Now they’re safe spaces that prioritise a student’s desire to avoid being offended over honest discussion. Sad days indeed.

When I was an undergrad doing literary theory our lecturers saw it as their role to upset and disconcert us.

Love this. What a shame we’re not challenged like this now! At least my Dad is always trying to get me to question my ideas, we’re always debating something. What’s it going to be like when my 2 year old is older?!
