If, when someone says "trans men are male" they actually mean "trans men are percieved as male," that's fine. I can agree with that. But again, I was told I *was* male when I was trans. I wasn't told "now you're percieved as male."
No, I acknowledged that I was female and I got branded "truscum" and accused of "internalised transphobia" for it.
I’ve understood that to say “I feel like a boy/man inside” is tantamount to being a real boy or man in reality. Not true. I believe that we all have a personality that incorporates both masculine and feminine thoughts and behaviors. We’re human beings, after all.
