It’s so disheartening that when I say I’m a lesbian and therefore only interested in women, the most likely group to criticize me are not bible-thumping conservatives, but pro-LGBT liberals who call me “transphobic” for excluding male-bodied trans women from my affections.

I grew up in a Christian home, and I was always taught to be loving towards everyone, no matter how they differed from me. There was no judgment of others, just compassion and acceptance with truth on your side, as it should be. It’s sad that such hate is coming from ‘liberals’
It’s very sad. The mantra “trans women are women,” when used to shame lesbians who don’t entertain the thought of dating trans women has become the new Leviticus 18:22.
