I grew up in a Christian home, and I was always taught to be loving towards everyone, no matter how they differed from me. There was no judgment of others, just compassion and acceptance with truth on your side, as it should be. It’s sad that such hate is coming from ‘liberals’

I'm a bible-thumping conservative, and I've noticed the same thing from that group. It's no longer just about 'acceptance', it's about them ramming beliefs and ways of life down everyone's throat, especially for those who don't agree with them.

Exactly. Much of the conservative right has become, ironically, much more accepting of those who differ than parts of the left. It’s as if the authoritarian tendencies have flipped to the other party in our contemporary western politics.

They call it "genital preference" and hint (or say outright) that its somehow bigoted as a lesbian to not like male bodies/penises. Its the most rapey and scary rhetoric and if you point it out you will get called "terf" and get death/rape threats.

I'm a mildly religious muslim and from a very devout Catholic upbringing and frankly, I find the woke left as repugnant as the firebrand conservative fundamentalists tbh. The tolerant left can be quite intolerant. Wokery is a religion of it's own.

The only reason it's not a religion, per se, is because it refuses to be held accountable to anything. The woke goalposts are constantly moving and they have no fixed moral code. Opportunism, frankly, is what it is. And we as a society should unmask it, because it's abusive.
