What happened in 2013? A rising number of teen girls started presenting at gender clinics to address gender dysphoria. Girls - who weren’t dysphoric as kids and instead developed dysphoria *after* hitting their teens – suddenly believed they were boys born in the wrong body. 1/8

Why are so many girls now “realizing” they’re trans? Before widespread internet access, boys outnumbered girls at gender clinics. A coincidence? Or insecure, gender non-conforming and, often, gay girls feeling they *must* be trans because they’re not like “normal” girls? 8/8

It can't be a coincidence that in a patriarchal world some females choose to 'transition' to the dominant male sex rather than continue as the weaker sex.

Something I noticed in recent years: once the media used mostly straight/gay for both sexes, now lesbian is the only word used for women by media thanks to a big LGBT organization with clout. I find it interesting that the person in charge of their media guide is a trans man.

Yup. Meanwhile, every effort goes into shutting down any discussion or study of social contagion. Just thinking about that possibility is considered a transgression now. We used to call it peer pressure. My ma worried there might be weed at parties.
