Children are highly suggestible. The idea that “if you don’t affirm and transition dysphoric kids, they’ll kill themselves” is nothing but fearmongering. If it were true, there would be a plethora of dead trans kids from the days prior to the availability of medical transition.

It's a form of emotional blackmail and a very dishonest one too.
It's also very dangerous. The people who parrot it are harming the very kids they claim to wish to protect.
