Don't rush it. I downloaded the app a week before and built up to it. Allen Carr book also very good for psychology ( though it says don't use a substitute, I decided I needed one initially - patches avoid the addiction to a 'hit')

I quit for 6 weeks when I got my mastectomy (surgeons orders), Leeping my hands busy with a rubix cube and keeping my mouth busy with lolly-pops was helpful. I think now because I know I *can* smoke, I definitely want to be smoke-free this year. Please, keep us updated!
