“If I had not been able to transition, I would have killed myself.” I see this sentence a lot. It’s means more to me, because I used to say it – and I used to believe it. It makes me sad, and it makes me angry. But it means even more than that. 1/5

All I ask is that the separation is peaceful. I’ve seen detrans people rally for no one to access gender-affirming help. Just because it wasn’t right for you or for some, doesn’t mean it’s wrong for all. We all need to be able to follow our best path.

I agree. Trans people and detrans people should support one another, or at the very least agree to disagree in a civil manner.
