What was once a call for gay rights is now a call for the erasure of same-sex attraction. Lesbians who voice their attraction for women based on sex - not gender ID - are called “exclusionary." A lesbian, who isn't attracted to men who identify as women, is a bad lesbian.

If this is exactly true, it is wrong. If what is really true is that lesbians who insist on offensive phrases such as "men who identify as women" rather than transwomen are being called for being offensive, that's completely different.

What is a transwoman, Stephen? Something differentiates them from women. Something that might affect a lesbians attraction to them. What is it?

Whatever they are, they have asked us, repeatedly, not to refer to them as men or males. Unless you want to be offensive, you won't. You can say "no transwomen." No reason for you to call them male or men, unless you want and intend to be offensive.

“Whatever they are,” Jesus Christ. How about this; I won’t have my language policed. Women are sick of self-censoring to appease men. If that makes you uncomfortable, feel free to block me.

This started because you said you were unwelcome at gay pride because of who you wouldn't sleep with. It seems like that might be a lie. If it is because of your language, then you telling a different story pollutes the debate, which puts other lesbians potentially at risk...

It’s naïve to assume that language is the problem here. Saying “I’m not interested in men who identify as women” and saying “I’m not interested in trans women” is saying the same thing. Both are met with accusations of transphobia.
