Why is it maybe a problem if I go to pride and say I'm only into "cis" women?

Only if you want to carry a banner saying it.

Presumably if my banner said, “Proud lesbian, attracted to women!” it would be fine, though? But adding that dreaded “cis” in there suddenly makes my same-sex attraction a problem?

If I were goddess and this is a real problem, that's how I would frame it: "Look, a lot of lesbians/questioning women are confused/feel guilty enough about their sexuality without being further guilt tripped into whether they are sexually open to transwomen."

I'm neither confused nor guilty about my sexuality. I know I'm not attracted to males, including those who identify as women.

Assuming no confusion, why would you need to state "cis-" on a placard at a gay pride event? Many gay me are racially exclusive in their attraction. Do you really not see any parallel, or are you just arguing? You know calling transwomen "males" is offensive, so why do it?

"Being told I’m a bigot for not being attracted to _____ (OR transwomen) is offensive." I agree with that 1000%. But, you have to slip the "male" in there to continue to be offensive to trans people. Why? You seem angry at someone? All transwomen everywhere?
