We need long-term follow-up studies of trans folk undergoing SRS. The only one I’ve found (Sweden) found that those who had SRS had considerably higher suicide and suicide attempt rates. Yet, I’m told by TRAs the suicide rates drop post-transition. We. Need. More. Research.
