Thank you for sharing. I’m sorry you’ve had such a hard time, have you remained in contact with your family since you retransitioned? Or have they remained unsupportive?
I mean no disrespect when I say this, but I wonder how many gay kids have been psychologically scarred by religious families like yours. The whole “gay agenda” “pray the gay away” schtick has always really angered me. I’m glad your family are less aggressive now, though.

My country is very secular, so I’ve yet to meet a trans person here with a story like yours. But I agree, even here, transition seems to be used as an obvious escape route for other underlying problems. It's all very sad, really.
