Family members telling me they “always felt” my decision to transition was a mistake. I ask “why didn’t you say anything back then?” They reply “we didn’t want to upset you.” Please, upset me. If you have concerns about someone you love – talk to them about it. It might help.

Thanks for this thread, Watson. My son was 21 when he decided to transition after one month of researching on social media w/ no history of gd (per him). We supported social transition but tried everything we could to convince him to wait on hormones, but he was so OCD abt it 1/

and refused to listen to us.The only things we tried were talking LOTS, shared detrans videos (fail) and family therapy (fail).So we could only wait and hope for the best. So indoctrinated. Detransitioned after 8 months and has gynomastia and pituitary gland tumor. Getting better

I'm glad to hear he's getting better, but angry for you all that he was ever allowed to transition. These gender clinics are failing so many people. The stories in this thread are desperately sad.
