I’m so glad to hear that. You really do need to be on your side, first of all. A woman who is on her own side is the only one who has anything to spare for others.
I’ve spent a great deal of time drowning in self-pity. Thinking, “If only someone had helped me back then.” But, I never stopped needing help. So, when I decided to be the someone who helped me, I became thankful for myself for the first time in my life. Feels good, man.
