How do we know only 0.3% of trans folk detransition when so many who choose to detrans don't do so through their gender clinic, and are therefore not counted in the official %?

Oh shit you're right, a friend I have detransitioned by simply ignoring doctor phone calls and weaning off their med themselves at the same rate as they started them. I didn't even think of how that might affect research like this
