      #ManchesterDetrans So it turns out there was a couple of maybe actual detransitioners at the event. Actual detransitioners being a vanishingly small group, they had to bus two of them over from Germany. They literally couldnt find any British ones treated on the NHS. 1/?pic.twitter.com/RYDJyxFn5T

      Simply saying "I'm a detransitioner" has been met with responses like "bigot," "transphobe" and "TERF." It's almost impossible to talk about detrans experiances without being lashed out at and name-called.

      That is appalling behaviour from them. I'm so sorry to hear its so hard. I've seen similar in NZ. The Manchester event will be the start of building a community of support. Currently UK, NZ, AUs CAN etc have legalised conversion therapy to support and endorse transitioning.

      The Manchester even will definetly be the beginning of something incredibly important. But the backlash to it, already being seen on here, may put other detrans folk off of joining the conversation. It's time for us to be brave, so your support is very much appriciated. Thank you
