I’ve been a part of the LGBT community for over a decade, but please, feel free to tell me what I do and do not know. This event gave a voice to detrans experiences. You may not like what those experiences have to say, but they're real, and they deserve a voice just as you do.

I'm sorry to ask, but do you not have working eyes? Just look at who's hosting this event, and then look at the speakers who were invited. If this is just about giving detransitioners a voice, why does it have all these anti-trans bigots attached to it? Be honest.

Can you point me to some of the anti-trans bigotry you’re referring to?

You can Google their names yourself, can you not? Joss has also written a bunch on this; it's on her timeline still.

You’re the one making the accusation that the people involved in this event are anti-trans bigots, thus is falls on you to provide proof of this claim. But you can’t, can you?

One of them is an obsessive liar and fraud: https://amp.theguardian.com/society/2017/mar/27/doctor-was-dishonest-in-screening-nurse-who-had-ebola-tribunal-finds?__twitter_impression=true … The other one, Stella, talks on Twitter about "trans privilege" and having to "bow down" to trans people. Nope, nothing shady at all!

I don’t understand how that Guardian article proves anyone is an anti-trans bigot, I’m afraid. Also, I follow Stella and I’ve never seen her discuss “trans privilege.” Could you link me to those tweets?

Context matters here. This specifically addresses how race and age dysphoria aren't afforded the same validation as gender dysphoria, with examples given Also points out that cis athletes can’t compete on hormones but trans athletes can, this isn't a privilege?

No it's not, and you're wrong: cis women can have their menopause and compete in professional sports. "Race and age dysphoria". These two only really exist (and are given merit) in conservative anti-trans circles. It would first need to be recognized medically or socially.

Menopausing women aren't biological men competing as women Why doubt race/age dysphoria but not gender dysphoria? The science on GD and how to treat it is still in infancy. Dr van Horn of Tavistock admitted to a lack of clinical research re the increase in referrals to clinics
